Navin uses it to assemble videos, export social formats, transcode browser recordings, and sample frames from a video attached to a conversation. - Upstream project: https://ffmpeg.org - Copyright (c) 2000-present the FFmpeg developers - Licence: **GNU General Public License, version 3 or later** - Full licence text: `licenses/ffmpeg-COPYING.GPLv3.txt` in the installed application, and `desktop/src-tauri/resources/licenses/` in this repository. Navin invokes it as a subprocess through its documented command-line interface and does not link against, statically or dynamically, any FFmpeg library. Navin is therefore a separate work and remains proprietary software of Navinspire IA, while the FFmpeg executable remains entirely under the GPL. ### Written offer for corresponding source In accordance with section 6 of the GNU General Public License version 3, Navinspire IA hereby offers, to any third party who received a Navin distribution containing the FFmpeg executable, a complete machine-readable copy of the corresponding source code of that FFmpeg build, for a period of three years from the date of that distribution, for a charge no more than the cost of physically performing the distribution. To exercise this offer, write to **contact@navinspire.com** with the subject "FFmpeg source request", indicating your Navin version, your platform, and the SHA-256 of the FFmpeg executable shipped with your installation. The corresponding source is also published by each build provider listed above, and by the FFmpeg project at https://git.ffmpeg.org/ffmpeg.git. You may replace the bundled executable: Navin resolves `ffmpeg` from the `PATH` before using the bundled one, so installing your own build takes precedence without repackaging the application. --- ## Other runtime dependencies Navin also depends on numerous open-source libraries declared in `pyproject.toml`, `webui/package.json`, `desktop/package.json`, and related lockfiles (Python packages, npm packages, Rust crates via Tauri, system libraries). Those packages retain their individual licenses as published by their authors. This notice file highlights redistributed upstream project materials that require explicit attribution in product distributions.
